DERBY, VT – Three members of the Derby Select Board met last Friday night and voted unanimously to file as interveners with the Public Service Board in the matter of Encore Redevelopment and the Derby Line wind project.
Brian Smith, the chairman, was absent that night but, according to select board member Karen Jenne, Smith called the other board members to voice his support for intervention. Jenne, Beula-Jean Shattuck, and Steven Gendreau all voted yes.
In addition to Derby Town, the Town of Holland and the Villages of Derby Line and Derby Center also decided to file as interveners.
Jenne reported that all municipalities filed on time yesterday.
