Most middle-class American people believe that the “American Dream” is to own their own home, and make a comfortable, decent living. My husband and I are real close to paying off our American dream. We have, and are still, working hard to accomplish this dream.
We moved out here 22 years ago for the PEACE of living in the country, NOT all of this conflict between friends and neighbors! IF this wind farm happens, we won’t be able to sell to get out of here due to the loss of property values.
I’d like to say to the property owners who have signed leases: I feel sorry for you. You are ultimately the ones who started this trouble by signing the leases. I hope you regret your decisions. And I am so thankful that I don’t have a greed for money that ruins relationships AND ruins our neighborhoods FOREVER! It will be on your conscience that you have ruined people’s lives.
