Wind energy planning guidelines
These guidelines from Ireland outline the very many impacts to be considered in siting a wind power facility. Their recommendation for noise limits at neighboring residences is 5 dB(A) above the ambient level, or where the ambient level is below 30 dB(A) an absolute limit of 35-40 db(A).
