The proposed Armow Wind Project by Samsung-Pattern in the Kincardine area gets its first test in the appeal process today.

Ken and Sharon Kroeplin have launched an appeal, stating the industrial wind turbines cause health problems.

The Kroeplins say one of the more than 90 turbines to be constructed will be within 600 metres of their home.

A preliminary hearing is being conducted by an environmental review tribunal this morning beginning at 10 at the Best Western Governors Inn, in Kincardine.

Kincardine councillor Jacqueline Faubert has pointed out today’s meeting is a preliminary one only with the formal hearing scheduled for Thursday, December 19th at 10am at the same venue.

The Armow Wind project received provincial approval in October.
