Aug 28th, '13 | www.quintenews.com

Legal battles can be expensive and Prince Edward County council is acknowledging that.

Council has voted in favor of giving $20,000 to the Field Naturalists to help with legal costs, so they can continue fighting Gilead Power and the Ministry of Environment in court.

In July, the Naturalists won an appeal to the Environmental Review Tribunal, having the the wind proponents plans for a wind farm on Ostrander Point denied.

Now Gilead and the MOE are appealing the process, and the groups will be back in A Toronto court at the end of next month.
