Complimentary Energy Decision Support Tool (CEDST)

Poultry Industry Council

[1]

Project Overview

The Complimentary Energy Decision Support Tool (CEDST) is a project being conducted between the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph and the Poultry Industry Council. The purpose of this tool is to assist farmers in their decision to install a renewable energy system. This tool will be simple to use and will guide the farmer through an assessment of the renewable energy potential of his or her site. It will compare different potential renewable energy technologies (such as wind, solar, etc.) and their feasibilities.

The CEDST Team is looking for information regarding the overall satisfaction of farmers on renewable or green energy technologies that they have implemented on their operation. All views, ranging from dissatisfied to extremely satisfied, are desired in this survey.
