Statehouse press conference on wind turbine health concerns

Energize Vermont

After attempting to get relevant legislative committees to hear testimony from the doctors on Thursday and getting nowhere, Room 11 (the big room downstairs in the Statehouse) has been reserved for Energize Vermont to hold a press conference on Friday, May 7, at 10:30 a.m.

Dr. Nissenbaum will be available to make a presentation and answer questions. This is your opportunity to show up in person and demonstrate the public’s concern about wind turbines on Vermont’s mountains. The legislature will be in its final days, likely going home the next day, and there will be a lot of legislators around the building waiting for the results of conference committees.

Please take this opportunity to come to the Statehouse, attend the Energize Vermont press conference, ask questions of Dr. Nissenbaum, and stay around and talk to legislators so they hear concerns from people all over Vermont. Encourage others as well to come to the Statehouse on Friday, May 7, at 10:30.

Note:  On Thursday, May 6, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Rutland Regional Medical Center is hosting a forum on wind turbines and health with Dr. Michael Nissenbaum of Northern Maine Medical Center and Dr. Robert McCunney of Massachusetts General Hospital. Click here for information. [1]
