The concrete pad for a new turbine sits to the upper left in this view, which shows how it all begins. Land-clearing operations are underway, with groundwork being completed by Sargent Corporation of Stillwater, Maine. Associated support companies also include JML Trucking of Errol and C. Bean Transport of Colebrook. As of July, there were 168 workers on site. (Claire Lynch photo, The News and Sentinel)
