Counties sign resolution calling for halt to Lava Ridge, other wind projects in Magic Valley

Wind turbine near Greenwood NY catches fire

Fire crews watch as turbine burns 400 feet above West Union, Rexville NY. Fire crews are on site of a wind turbine fire just over the Allegany-Steuben County line in Greenwood. Packed house attends Jefferson County zoning meeting on wind energy regulations

Fairbury – About 130 people attended a Jefferson County Planning and Zoning meeting Thursday night, as officials continue to discuss proposed wind energy regulations.
