Ilirska Bistrica locals submit signatures against wind farm

After the locals expressed in October strong opposition to the plans to build a wind farm near Ilirska Bistrica (SW), the Snežnik civil initiative has now submitted signatures of opposition to the project to the Natural Resources and Spatial Planning Ministry. They argue the planned location is within a Natura 2000 nature protection area.

Predstavniki Civilne iniciative Snežnik so danes na ministrstvo za naravne vire in prostor dostavili zbrane podpise v znak nasprotovanja projektu postavitve devetih vetrnic v občini Ilirska Bistrica. Kot so pojasnili, je s projektom predviden poseg v območje neokrnjene narave, gre tudi za vodovarstveno območje.
