ABC Four Corners pushed government narrative

Credit:  Wind Farm Living, 10 June 2024, windfarmliving.com ~~

The ABC Four Corners program last night [“Wind Wars”] makes you want to go into Politics.

We need more people in politics to speak the real narrative.

The questions were obviously a setup – so the ABC could cherry-pick the narrative to demean the real story.

It smelt of bias. It seems that ABC would prefer to perpetuate the cliché rhetoric rather than get to the guts of the real story.

The impression they want to portray – that people only object to wind farms because they’re jealous of the money, or it’s only the views they’re worried about, or they want coal, or because they’re simply climate deniers, just doesn’t wash anymore.

Country people don’t give a shit about the money, they care about the environment, their community, their family’s health, and their farming or local business enterprise.

And real environmentalists (real people on the ground with boots on) care about the whales, and the brolgas and bats and the kolas, and all the flora and fauna that the environmental administrators want to ignore.

Government environmentalists use the term “mitigation”.

Mitigation is a political word – you can’t mitigate against Brolga displacement. Brolgas won’t relocate from their home ranges. If they are disturbed, they won’t breed and this iconic genetically pure Southern Brolga species will die out.

But administrators will deliberately use this in-word “mitigation” to justify allowing wind farms to roll on into environmentally sensitive areas.

Wind farms are all about big business money – they use the Government’s narrative to discredit country people because they can.

Then the wind farms use the Government’s puppets to push their own narrative.

Wind farms are not free energy. There is nothing “free” about governments using taxpayer money to fund wind farm businesses.

Watch it for yourself – The ABC pretending to be neutral.

Real people can see how the ABC manipulated the narrative.

Real people can see through the political bullshit.

Yes, the conversation is being had, thanks ABC, but the narrative needs to be changed at the political level first.

We need to change the politics, and then the ABC will follow … but don’t hold ur breath.
