The wind was so strong yesterday that it caused one wind turbine to collapse. MidAmerican Energy tells KCCI one turbine was bent at the base and another turbine lost a blade last night at its wind farm northwest of Ogden. Technicians are on site today assessing that damage. The turbines are in open fields, so nobody was hurt.
