Ottenstein: Landkreis legt Windpark nach Brand still

[After another wind turbine burned down on the Ottenstein plateau on Tuesday, the second within a year, the Holzminden district prohibited the operation of the remaining wind turbine of the facility, which was erected in 2004.]

Nachdem auf der Ottensteiner Hochebene am Dienstag erneut eine Windkraftanlage abgebrannt ist, hat der Landkreis Holzminden den Betrieb eines weiteren Windrades in der Nähe untersagt. Das berichtet NDR 1 Niedersachsen. Der Betreiber des Windparks sei aufgefordert worden, den sicheren Betrieb der 2004 gebauten Anlage gutachterlich nachzuweisen, sagte ein Sprecher des Landkreises. Bevor dieses Gutachten nicht vorliege, dürfe das Windrad nicht wieder in Betrieb gehen. Das jetzt abgebrannte Windrad gehört zu einem Windpark mit drei Anlagen. Vor einem Jahr war bereits eine Anlage in Flammen aufgegangen.
