The rear of the trailer carrying the 82-metre long wind turbine blade has gone off the road surface and become stuck.

UPDATED, Tuesday, 8.10am: A truck transporting an 82-metre wind turbine blade has gone off-road halfway along the Dunkeld-Cavendish Road near Karabeal.

"An employee of the transport company contacted us to alert people the road is closed.

"The truck carrying the wind turbine blade has gone off the road.

"It's an 82-metre long blade. The transport company is arranging its own crane to come and help get the trailer back on the road."
