A group of Marshall County residents concerned about NextEra Energy’s proposed 110-turbine Irish Creek Wind Project have banded together to form an organization named Rural Strong Marshall County. The group says its goal is to preserve the landscape, the open sky and rural quality of life of Marshall County.
On the other side of the issue are countians who believe the wind farm will bring years of benefits to the county’s rural economy and to those who support growing the wind industry and renewable energy.
