A motion to expand the boundaries of the Jayhawk Wind Energy project died during Tuesday’s Bourbon County Commission meeting.
Following a discussion with project representatives, Commission Chairman Lynne Oharah made a motion to amend the road use agreement the county has for the project to include the proposed expansion areas. After a pause, the motion died for lack of a second.
