Richard Sparnenn’s photo of a dramatic electrical storm over wind farms off the coast at Redcar yesterday
Who said lightning never strikes twice?
This dramatic photo of a sudden electrical storm striking windfarms off the coast at Redcar was taken yesterday by Richard Sparnenn of The Press Camera Club.
It was mid-afternoon and one of those ‘weird weather moments’, Richard said. “It was sunnyish one minute walking to Marske – then running for cover and soaked to the skin five minutes later. Ten minutes after that the sun was out and steam-drying everything.”
