INDIANAPOLIS – This morning, our radar was picking up reflectivity from the [Meadow Lake] wind farm in Carroll County.
Here are some Google maps of the wind farm. If you look closely, you can see the wind turbines running along the farm field and their shadows [click on images to enlarge].
Radar bounced off the turbines and sent back the information to the transmitter. It was dry, clear and quiet this morning but there was enough breeze to stir the turbines.
