Wind farm inadvisable, seek better alternatives

Dear Commissioners:
My wife and I own a farm where one corner of the farm is 1,000 feet from the closest wind turbine on Savage Mountain. The farm is on Frostburg Road. I work on this farm throughout the year, usually in the mornings, if not longer.
There are days, under certain weather conditions, usually sun or wind, when I can hardly stand to work there because of both the sound and the flicker. I feel most fortunate that I can leave and go home. However, building a home on the farm is out of the question if I were to live there.
There are sufficient research and news articles regarding the various dangers within certain distances that to repeat it should be unnecessary.
On the other hand, I am sure none of you live as close to a wind turbine as the one near my farm. I am sure you can appreciate personal experience.
Finally, in the bigger picture, it makes no sense to risk harming people or animals such as migrating birds or bats, by putting wind turbines in any of our mountains disrupting animals, people, and ecosystems when off-shore would avoid many of these concerns.
Better yet, community solar and investment in a micro-grid (which adds storage of generated electricity) could be pursued.
