The future of Chateaugay is at stake.
People of Chateaugay, don’t be snowballed by fancy, smooth talkers that are trying to put 750 ft. wind turbines in your town.
The words, trust me, come to mind when they say wind tower technology evolves, the blades would become more sophisticated, resulting in less noise. Don’t believe it; they have one thing in mind, that is to get their request approved.
Words of hollow meaning that disapate like smoke in the wind. A fairy tale comes to mind: Little Red Riding Hood and the big bad wolf who so much wanted Little Red Riding Hood to trust him.
The vote on the company’s request was tabled till Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m.Your town is not a guinea pig for these monsterous wind turbines ruining the town’s beautiful viewshed and disturbing the peace and quiet.
The noise and vibration and sun flicker on homes will impact peace and happiness in homes for decades to come, night and day 24/7, 365 a year.All the complaining will not change the negative impacts on the people in the town. Complaints will fall on deaf ears plugged up by money rolls and dollar signs.The residents’ rights come first.. The people have the right to live in peace and happiness in the homes they worked for all thier lives to have. Now only to be threatened and taken away by noise, shadows, vibrations off the turbine blades .
Don’t let your town be ruined like Churubusco is, with hundreds of turbine towers littering the landscape and taking away the peace and quiet of our homes.
All too often people’s rights are stepped on by people you’re supposed to trust to have your best interest in mind.
Don’t sit home and hope they don’t get approved; attend the meeting stand up, speak up for your rights, make your views heard. It’s your town.
You can’t vote on this matter; your town council will vote on the tabled 750 ft. turbines on Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m., but will they be blinded and deafened by revenues they can get or will they put you the people first?
One can hope for the best, like tossing a pinch of salt over one’s shoulder for good luck, but I think you’d better bring a bucket for luck.
It will be interesting to see what the council does with the oldest town in Franklin County. Remember, your vote counts in November when the people choose their elected officials to represent them.
