Proposed wind farm’s name officially changed

The wind farm proposed for southeast Marshall County has a new name.

“We have officially changed the name of our Marshall County wind project to Irish Creek Wind,” said Dan Scheffler, project manager with NextEra Energy Resources, the Florida company seeking to build the farm. “We’d like to thank the Marysville Historical Society for working with us to come up with a name that will resonate in the local community.”
