Another elected body in Posey County approves an ordinance to regulate wind and solar farms.
The Cynthiana Town Council approved the ordinance 3 to 0.
It would regulate wind turbines including shadow flicker, height and property distance.
The Poseyville Town Council also adopted the proposal, but it was voted down by the Mount Vernon Town Council.
The county commission also voted Tuesday to send the ordinance back to the area plan commission.
