Poseyville Town Council approves windmill ordinance

The Poseyville Town Council approved a zoning amendment on Wednesday night which would regulate wind and solar power in Posey County. Councilmembers passed the measure 3-0.

It would regulate property distance, shadow flicker, and more.

The Cynthiana Town Council tabled its vote on Wednesday night. It will take up the measure again at its next meeting which is January 8.

The Mt. Vernon Town Council and the Posey County Commission must also approve the ordinance.
