Sturmböen der Stärke zehn hinterließen auch bei einem Windrad am Morgen zwischen Hanstedt I und Brauel einen bleibenden Schaden. Wie bereits im Februar 2019 brach erneut ein Rotorblatt eines Windrades ab (AZ berichtete).

Verletzte gab es keine. Nach Auskunft von Polizeisprecher Kai Richter sei dasselbe Windrad betroffen wie vor knapp acht Monaten. Erst im Juli hatte die Betreiberfirma Energiekontor die Flügel des lädierten Windrads erneuern lassen.

Zur möglichen Ursache war von Energiekontor, das bei Brauel vier Windkraftanlagen betreibt, zunächst noch keine Aussage zu bekommen.
