CAMBRIDGE – A hearing on an injunction against Avangrid Renewable Energy’s Midland proposed wind farm in Henry County has been postponed to Aug. 22.

The hearing was originally to take place Thursday in front of Judge Terry Patton, but an attorney was unavailable. The plaintiffs also sought permission to file a 50-page motion, which was longer than the 10-page limit, according to local rules.

The wind farm would be located in Annawan, Burns, Cornwall, Galva and Kewanee townships.

Plaintiffs are Sami Brody, Linda Grant, Jimmy Kida, Craig Klavon, Linda Klavon, Bruce McCarty, Roger Nutt, Mitch Peterson, Keith Ross, David Tomsic, Karen Tomsic, Carolyn Tracy, Tom Tracy, Bernadette Weidner and Norma Werkheiser.

Named as defendants are members of the Henry County Board who voted to approve a special use permit for the wind farm last December. The suit also seeks that the permit be declared void.
