Plans are on the table for a windfarm near Melvich.
Airvolution Clean Energy is proposing a development two kilometres south east of the village, although a planning application has yet to be submitted.
The firm intends to hold a community engagement event at the village hall at the end of the month.
Airvolution will explain its ideas around shared ownership, local construction and the fund legacy that could see £245,000 each year being available to the community, after construction.
The company also believe there is an opportunity for the project – known as Ackron – to bring improved broadband to the area.
Senior Development Manager Lloyd Godwin said: “This public exhibition is an opportunity for Airvolution to explain the details of the Ackron Wind Farm project to those attending and to hear the views and thoughts of the community.”
