Lack of communication or transparency

The Falmouth Enterprise | October 5, 2018 | www.capenews.net

In a recent Enterprise article written by Brad Cole [September 21, page 6], Falmouth Building Commissioner Palmer reported that he had been informed by Town Manager Suso that an assessment is underway to examine other locations for the future operation of Wind 2.

At the February 12, 2018, meeting, the board of selectmen directed Mr. Suso to contract an engineering consultant to provide re-use alternatives for both turbine towers. Yet, Mr. Suso’s comment to Mr. Palmer implies that the scope of work to be performed by the engineering consultant (Weston & Sampson) is limited to examining locations for future Wind 2 operation only. Does this comport with the board of selectmen’s directive to Mr. Suso?

To residents of West Falmouth citing a need for cell-emergency communication coverage, there appears a communication gap in town hall. Perhaps even rising to an issue of transparency?
