OPSB sets public hearing for proposed Timber Road IV Wind Farm

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a hearing to allow the public to express their views about Paulding Wind Farm IV LLC’s proposal to construct a new wind-powered electric generation facility in Paulding County.

The local public hearing is scheduled at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at the OSU Extension Building, 503 Fairground Drive, Paulding.

The proposed Timber Road IV Wind Farm would be situated across approximately 20,400 acres in Crane, Harrison, Paulding, Blue Creek and Benton townships. The facility would consist of 54 potential wind turbine locations. The total number of turbines constructed would depend on the turbine model selected and is not anticipated to exceed 37 turbines. The total output for the facility would not exceed 125.1 megawatts.

The adjudicatory hearing in this proceeding will begin at 10 a.m. on Dec. 14, 2018, at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, Hearing Room 11-D, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215. The purpose of the adjudicatory hearing is to allow formal parties to the case to present pre-filed testimony and evidence, and to cross examine other parties’ witnesses.
