Kimbrough: Wind turbines are bad for Wyoming wildlife

Credit:  Casper Star Tribune | May 27, 2018 | trib.com ~~

Wyoming is doing a study on pronghorns and wind turbines. They are putting in the wind turbines and then seeing if said turbines destroy the antelope herd. Yes, that’s right. Put in the turbines and if the antelope drop dead or disappear, too bad. Not to mention the destruction of a public hunt area—but since Wyoming politicians and news people almost universally despise wildlife, hunting and open spaces and will sell out the lives of eagles for a few bucks and a spoiled landscape, it’s not surprising. Only backward, hillbilly states have hunting. Wyoming does not need hunting. Shut it all down and let the wind industry have their way with the place. That way Wyoming is loved by California and liberals, which is the very most important thing to Wyoming anyway.

I guarantee the antelope study will show no impact or the impact is no big deal. I’ll bet money on it. It’s a foregone conclusion the turbines harm nothing because the greens and Wyoming politicians want the destruction.

Every politician says “keep our kids in Wyoming.” Why? All Wyoming is is a place to destroy nature in the name of profit from worthless scams. The goal of the power company is to make billionaires richer (including the already very wealthy landowners getting income from the deals with the turbine owners). They don’t care about your electrical power, eagles or antelope. In fact, if all the eagles and antelope dropped dead, life would be so much easier for them. Wyoming cares nothing about your average citizen whatsoever. Yes, your kids leave this state because it’s despised by the politicians, the power company and press. Why would they stay? There is no “Wyoming way of life” except pillaging for money no matter what the scam or how big the destruction.
