Anyone living within 10 kilometres of a wind turbine has until October 1st to take part in health study.

If you live in rural Huron County and haven’t signed up for the Health Unit’s wind turbine study yet, officials say you still have until October 1st to do so.

The study will examine reported negative health effects associated with turbines including noise, vibration and light.

Epidemiologist Doctor Erica Clark says the Health Unit seeks to compare people reporting adverse health effects with those who feel no effects at all.

To be eligible to take part, you must live within 10 kilometres of a turbine or wind development.

If you’re interested in taking part in the Health Unit wind turbine survey, you can find out more at your nearest County library branch or at www.huronhealthunit.ca/wind.
