When the year began, we posed “17 questions for 2017” that would shape the year. Here’s an update on what they were and how they’ve turned out.
16. Will construction start on the proposed wind farm in Botetourt County? No. The Charlottesville wind company Apex got all the permits it needs to build the state’s first commercial wind farm but has yet to find a buyer for the power —and doesn’t want to invest in the turbines until it does. This gets moved into the “things to look for in 2018” file.
