Who wants to live next to a wind turbine?

Midland Daily News | November 29, 2017 | www.ourmidland.com

What if there was no wind? No cooling breezes in summer, no spreading of seeds, or fertilizing? No moving the clouds in the sky. Have you ever looked for cloud shapes? At the fly-in, I swear I saw a cloud like a plane! And my camera was at home. I also saw a polar bear!

We are stealing power from nature. How much is acceptable? There is no beauty in these monstrosities. An environmental impact study seems to be in order. Geothermal heating and cooling is done here in Midland. Down so far, the earth is hot. A pump to tap into this energy is not cheap, but is an everlasting cheap supply and not visible. I would rather the money be put into this than the monstrosities. An added value to the home, not a thing that decreases value. Who wants to live next to one?

That’s my opinion and I am stuck with it. Anyone agree?
