Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP candidate Todd Case is speaking out against the proposed Otter Creek Wind Farm.
Case says a proper environmental assessment needs to be done that includes the potential impact on area water wells.
“One situation that’s been very clear since day one is the green energy act and in my opinion there are flaws in the act,” says Case. “When it comes to the situation where we are dealing with folks with well water,it’s a serious situation and brakes need to be put on that immediately until proper due diligence can be done by the MOECC and I’m talking about a full study, not a partial study.
The Otter Creek development will also be the focus of tonight’s Wallaceburg Area Wind Concerns meeting at the UAW Hall, getting underway at 7.
