The Tompkins County Department of Planning and Sustainability is hosting a public meeting about renewable energy systems, Thursday night.
They’re in the process of drafting a series of recommendations for local governments about regulating solar and wind energy systems. This will help local governments draft local zoning and site regulation plans.
At Thursday’s meeting, the public will be able to learn more, and share their concerns, thoughts, and reactions.
Written comments will also be accepted through March 24th.
The meeting is Thursday March 16th from 6:00 – 7:30 PM in the Borg Warner Room of the Tompkins County Public Library.
