Council receives 120 objections to Gweedore wind turbine plan

Planning objections to the proposed Wind Turbine at Gweedore Industrial Estate have been handed in to the Council offices in Dungloe.
There have been a number of public meetings in relation to the proposal with a protest taking place outside Údarás na Gaeltachta ofices in Gaoth Dobhair last week.
It’s understood that over 120 objections have been delivered to the local authorities by local residents.
Local Councillor Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig say this shows the significant level of opposition within the community to the proposed turbine………
