The constitutional challenge of Shawn and Tricia Drennan against the K2 wind energy project north of Goderich has been adjourned until early next year.
Shawn Drennan is representing himself in the action, and much of the time Wednesdsay morning had the judge explaining legal procedures.
Drennan wants the 144-turbine project stopped and claims it is violating his constitutional rights.
K2 claims the issue of constitutional rights has already been dealt with, but Drennan says that was before the turbines were up and running, and now that they are – the situation has changed.
The judge explained to Drennan how the application has to be filed, and set a new date of January 19th. He added costs for Wednesday’s hearing would be assessed on the 19th.
