Wellington North still ‘unwilling host’ for turbines

Wellington North has reconfirmed its opposition to becoming the home of wind turbines.
A motion given unanimous support also calls on the province to put a moratorium on wind energy projects until a health study has been completed by an independent third party.
Councillor Lisa Hern expressed the view of others on Wellington North council, saying that it is questionable how much effect municipal opposition has on keeping out wind turbines.
