The Aug. 20 letter by Earl Krause talked negatively about the controversy over Cape Wind’s proposal to scatter huge wind turbines off our beautiful coast. The writer blamed William Koch as the ringleader to prevent this development.
As a boat owner and a father of four who has sat on the beach overlooking Nantucket Sound, I and so many others agree that placing these wind turbines in our waters is not the right move. I have not heard of one argument that proves this will save Cape Cod residents money. In fact, I have heard our costs would increase.
I would like people to look at the financial and visual effect these wind turbines would have for us and our children. I would like to see the environmentalists look at the facts.
Will Mr. Krause see these ugly structures from his beach in Eastham?
