Another aviation safety expert tesitfied at the Environmental Review Tribunal in Collingwood.
Keith Green told the tribunal on Friday “either move the proposed location of eight mega turbines or close the Stayner Clearview Aerodrome”.
Using Transport Canada regulatory criteria, Green conducted a professional qualitative assessment of the risks associated with the construction of the turbines.
He concluded that without significant mitigation the cumulative risks were moderate to high both of which would be unacceptable to Transport Canada.
WPD Canada is proposing to build a wind farm in Stayner consisting of 8 turbines.
