Wind regulations nearing approval

The public will have a chance to provide input regarding wind regulations for Gage County during a special public hearing Thursday evening.
The County Board will host the hearing Thursday, March 17, at 6 p.m. on the second floor of the Gage County Courthouse.
Wind regulations have been heavily debated for several months as the process made its way through the County Planning and Zoning Commission.
The commission approved recommendations to the County Board, the governing body that will give final approval to the updated regulations.
The dedicated public hearing Thursday may be the last one before regulations are approved.
The County Board is not expected to take action on the regulations Thursday, but will take the regulations to a vote at an upcoming regular meeting, the next of which is Wednesday, March 30, at 8:45 a.m.
