Firefighters battle wind turbine fire near Pontyates

Firefighters dealt with a wind turbine converter fire this afternoon near Pontyates.

One crew from Kidwelly arrived at the scene at 1.56pm on Monday afternoon, where the fire was alight.

The crew used a dry powder extinguisher to dowse the flames.
