MAROA- Twin Forks Wind Farm includes 140 wind turbines among an estimated 24,000 acres of land just north of Warrensburg and west of Maroa.
Neighbors Against Turbines In Our Neighborhood, known as NATION, is holding an open forum meeting regarding the impact of wind turbines and lack of communication among the elected officials and E.ON Company.
The meeting will take place today, September 9, at 6:30 pm in Maroa. Topics for discussion include health issues, property values, cell phone and television interference, wildlife habitat, and a question and answer session.
