Hearing set on wind turbines

PRIMGHAR—History seems to be repeating itself for the O’Brien County Board of Supervisors. Nearly two years to the day after the board approved a building permit for the Highland Wind Project, the supervisors agreed to hold a public hearing on a building permit for an expansion of that project at Tuesday’s regular meeting. At 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the assembly room of the O’Brien County Courthouse, the public will get a chance to comment on the proposed 250-megawatt O’Brien Wind Energy Project, which would place an additional 104 wind turbines in the county.
