A wind turbine blade got stuck in downtown Goldthwaite Wednesday afternoon. The large blade reportedly took nearly an hour to make the corner turning northeast off Fisher Street (Highway 183) onto Loop 15 toward Highway 84.
Traffic backed up on Fisher Street and vehicles went around the stuck blade. No accidents were reported. Some expert maneuvering by the truck driver finally got the blade unstuck and on its way about 2:30 pm Wednesday.
