So Ratch “believes” a majority of locals support the company’s Mt Emerald Wind Farm project? And that only less than 10 people object? Have they forgotten the hundred or so who turned up to object at the dodgy community consultation, the dozens who packed out the council meeting this time last year, the nine separate community groups which independently sought meetings with various Ministers at Community Cabinet in November, the hundreds who said NO in the community survey, the thousand who signed the petition which was presented to Parliament by Shane Knuth? … not to mention all the “gagged” residents who bought nearby properties from project partner Port Bajool – they can have no say.
