Yet more documents concerning the Hemswell Cliff wind turbine project have been posted online in advance of this month’s public inquiry.

West Lindsey District Council has now posted the Proofs of Evidence for the inquiry on its website, from the council, the developer RWE Inogy and the Vocat opposition group.

The Public Inquiry opens at 10am on Tuesday January 27 at the Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground, Grange-de-Lings.

“Council officers will give evidence to the inquiry in defence of the refusal of planning application 128940. Evidence will be given on the setting of heritage assets, landscape and visual impacts, and overall planning balance,” said a council spokeswoman.

The inquiry is expected to last until February 6, with the Secretary of State giving a written notice within 10 working days of the inquiry closing as to when a decision is expected.

The WLDC website (www.west-lindsey.gov.uk) has some 200 documents relating to the proposal, since the first planning application was first submitted in 2012 (Search for planning application 128940).
