LOGAN COUNTY/MOUNT PULASKI – The Logan County Board of Appeals hosted a public hearing on Thursday, Nov. 20 for conditional land use on properties south and west of Mount Pulaski for the purpose of harnessing wind energy for electrical generation.

Relight is based in Italy, and they are the developers behind the Meridien Wind Farm. The project has been in development for about five years with a potential 81 wind turbines and electrical infrastructure proposed.

The hearing lasted almost two and half hours with many questions asked. Due to the lateness of the evening, further discussion was postponed to next month.

LDN will have details from this meeting on Monday.
