Are turbine answers blowin’ in the wind?

Gloucester Times | November 13, 2014 | www.gloucestertimes.com

I would like to ask the city of Gloucester’s mayor’s office to provide a detailed informational update on the two power generating windmills that are up at Blackburn Circle.

I’d like to see a detailed letter in the Gloucester Times to the citizens of Gloucester reporting in full detail the total power output of those two windmill turbines since they were installed compared to the projected output.

I’d like to know the total amount of electrical rebates the city has received compared to the projections before they were installed.

I’d also like to know of necessary maintenance work done since installation, and if the city had to pay for any of it, or any future maintenance costs?

I’d also like to know the lifespan of the windmills and turbines and if the citizens of Gloucester will have to foot the bill for future replacements.

I would like to know this information since the American taxpayers, through federal and other grants, footed the bill for the purchase and installation of them and all of this requested information will make a good cost comparison to see if the two windmills have proved “economically viable.”
