Protest walk against pylons taking place tomorrow

Protestors are taking to the streets tomorrow, Saturday, October 25, to fight plans for a string of pylons to be installed.

Pylon the Pressure campaigners are hoping to block an overhead line connection between the Clocaenog Forest wind farm, which was recently given the go ahead, and St Asaph, where the line would be connected to the grid.

The North Wales Wind Farm Connection is to be built by power firm SP Manweb.

The walkers will travel along the proposed route, meeting near Tir Mostyn wind turbines, Saron at 9.30am, departing at 10am prompt.#

Anyone wanting to take part later in the day can join at meeting points in Peniel at 11am and Henllan at 1-1.30pm.
