Regarding the recent decision by juwi Wind to pull out of Tipton County, I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows this is not the end of the fight against Big Wind.
E.ON is still trying to build another wind farm in Jefferson Township and another spanning Grant and Howard counties. We aren’t out of the woods yet. It’s up to your commissioners to make this go away, and as we’ve seen in the past, they seem hell-bent on allowing this to go on.
Call, write or email your commissioners if you do not want 500-foot-tall industrial wind turbines surrounding your house.
